Diving in Gili Islands, Indonesia
If you're looking for a place in Indonesia to visit that isn't packed with tourists (i.e. Bali), may we suggest the Gili Islands? Gili is west of Bali and is made up of three islands - Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air.
Featuring an abundance of marine wildlife, crystal clear waters and sandy white beaches with friendly locals, this is the place you need to be.
One blog article that caught our attention was the BackPackerBanter.com site. It featured their photo of the week – snorkelling on Gili T, Indonesia.
For anyone looking for more information on the Gili Islands, two resources you need to check out – TripAdvisor and LonelyPlanet.
Each site has heaps of information on the Islands, where to go, what to do, tips and trips.
